T's first tailgate

Truett went tailgating with me this weekend (Ted was in Austin with his brother). He was such a good boy! Really, no matter how "good" he is I still get nervous for solo outings b/c you just never know what a baby might do. He was such a trooper! He let anyone hold him, loved laughing at any friends who played with him, chilled in his stroller while Kate, Sara, and me trucked around the entire UH stadium once or twice (lol). Kate was kind enough to take some pics and share them! It was pretty hot so little man ended up shirtless.

Stats

Ted and I both went to Truett's 9 month appt on Friday. He's such a big boy! Where did that peanut go?

Weight: 21 pounds (50th%)
Height: 29 inches (75th%
Head: 50th%

He also had 2 shots...the flu shot and whatever it was that they were out of at his 6 month appointment. They also drew blood to check iron levels and some other stuff and it all came back perfect. He is such a ball of energy. This weekend all he wanted to do was pull up and stand and then cruise the couch. His balance is pretty bad though so you have to be close for those falls...He also figured out how to get on his knees and crawl the stairs. It's exhausting for him thought so he doesn't get very far. Too cute. He's making all kinds of new noises, baba, uh-oh, dada variations...of course, everything but MAMA, lol.

Happy Nine Months, Sweat Pea!
These shots are from our fun visit at the Children's Museum. Truett had a blast playing and climbing everywhere and was fasinated by anything wheels, tunnels, mirrors, etc...

Bye Bye Baby....

...Baby tub, that is. It was time to retire the baby/toddler tub when Truett realized there was more to the bath beyond the blue walls...he now loves getting on his belly and being a little fish, or splashing with his toys, eating washcloths... and pulling up on the tub walls...scary for mommy but oh so much fun for a curious 8 month old!!

Plotting his escape....

Oh what fun times we had little blue tubby!
What YOU lookin' at?

And lets not forget....

BB giving me a bath. Some privacy, please?

My FIRST bath in the baby tub. I wasn't sure what to think...it soon became one of my favorite places to play.
